Stacy Simpson

Stacy Simpson is the Chief Communications Officer for Mindspark, where she is responsible for communications, public relations and brand strategy for the company, which is made up of more than 50 digital products that reach a global audience of over 100 million unique visitors each month.
In addition to her role at Mindspark, she currently serves as Senior Vice President of Global Communications & Brand Marketing for IAC. In this capacity, she oversees the brand marketing and global communications strategies for IAC and its more than 50 consumer brands, including corporate and brand reputation management; brand strategy and marketing; consumer, business and financial media relations; and employee and executive communications.
Prior to this role, Stacy held various positions inside IAC, most recently as Vice President of Global Communications. Stacy joined IAC in 2006 from IBM. During her career there, she led media relations and communications efforts across the company and for various business units, including IBM Business Consulting Services, IBM Systems & Technology Group, and IBM Engineering & Technology Services. Stacy has led global communications for IBM’s On Demand Business Strategy as well as IBM’s Linux Strategy and was the Global Communications Manager of IBM Technology Collaboration Solutions, a unit created to capitalize on the market shift toward collaborative innovation.
Before joining IBM, Stacy worked in public relations, media relations and strategic communication in Washington, DC, where she served as Director of Communications for the national non-profit organization, Advocates for Youth, and held various positions at the radio PR agency, Strauss Radio Strategies and the non-profit health-policy organization, the National Coalition on Healthcare.
Stacy graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a bachelor’s degree in public policy.
